Il turismo religioso nei borghi
Abstract
The bedrock of religious travel is the spiritual needs of the tourist that looking for place of faith and religious evidence. Besides, the religious travel can promote the development of rural areas and mountains that are coming near to depopulation and the enhancement of the extraordinary artistic and historical heritage, little known, favoring the recovery of regional identity and organization of local resources to finalize the reception. Innovative forms of integrated travel promotion are found in different Italian regions, such as Sardinia, Umbria and Abruzzo. In their tourism portals, you can find targeted proposals for tourists with religious paths where the cultural aspect is intersected with religious one to determine a more extensive knowledge of the territory.
