Abstract

This interview focuses on the research project “Il rumore lontano” (The distant noise), undertaken at the DFA - Dipartimento Formazione e Apprendimento of SUPSI in 2017. The project, coordinated by Xabier Erkizia and Lorena Rocca, aimed at investigating the potential of soun to identify the cultural and geographical characteristics of Canton Ticino through its railway network. The project resulted in the book “The distant noise” (SUPSI, Libe edizioni, Audiolab 2018), with contributions by Xabier Erkizia, Lorena Rocca, Hillel Schwartz, Franco Farinelli.
