Author Guidelines

  • Submitted works should follow a specific format, length, and citation style.
    Author Guidelines     include essential information about preparing a work for submission, criteria for publication and the submission process.
  • Authors’ Statement form contains the details about copyright, submission, and procedures. The form (complete and duly signed) has to be uploaded together with the works being submitted for publication.
  • Files maximum size allowed: 22 MB. Files exceeding this limit must be splitted in two or more files. Use section Uploading Supplementary Files (Step 4 of the procedure) to upload files after the first one, which has to be submitted in Step 2 of the procedure.
  • The online submission consists of 5 steps. All steps must be completed; when done, the author will receive a confirmation e-mail. If no confirmation is received then the submission is incomplete: please check that you have gone through with all the steps in the procedure. If you need help please send an e-mail to ledonline-ojs@ledonline.it.
  • This journal does not charge APCs or submission charges

 

Submission Preparation Checklist

As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.

  1. Works submitted to the Journal should be original and not under consideration for publication elsewhere.
  2. Papers should be no longer than 7.000 words including quotations, references, and footnotes, but not including tables or graphics. 
    Abstracts should be no longer than 200 words.
    10 keywords should also be supplied.
  3. Check that Author Guidelines      have been  followed carefully.
  4. Check that the instructions in Ensuring a Blind Review have been followed.
  5. All submissions must be in Word format

  6. Check that all required supplementary files have been prepared (Use section Uploading Supplementary Files - Step 4 of the procedure):

    • A PDF file generated from the final Word file
    • Authors’ Statement form (complete and duly signed)
    • All fonts different from that used for the basic text
    • All figures in the original electronic format (300 dpi .TIF, .JPG, .EPS or .XLS).
    • Check that all materials and figures that require permission for publication have been identified and publication permissions can be provided.
    • Check that files exceeding 22 MB have been splitted in two or more files.
 

Copyright Notice


For Authors:

Rivista di Scienze del Turismo does not require the transfer of copyright, that is authors retain any and all rights on the content of their papers.

The editorial format and the graphical layout of the texts published in print and/or on-line in Rivista di Scienze del Turismo remain the exclusive property of the Publisher.

The author/authors may publish their works at any time and in any form with another publisher, with the following limitations:
- in the new publication, the preliminary page must cite the references of the previous publication under the LED trademark, including the URL of the on-line publication;
- the new publication must not exclude nor limit the publication, distribution or commercial use of the work, hard copy or digital, by LED in any way
- the new publication must not reproduce the graphical layout of the publication which appears under the LED trademark, nor use or reproduce the PDF files published on the https://www.ledonline.it/ website, except for the case of self-archiving mentioned below.

It is consequently forbidden, also in order not to damage the journal statistics, to upload the final published files in such websites as Academia, Research Gate and the like, where the DOI code and/or the link to the issue homepage has to be inserted instead.

Self-archiving: 
Authors may self-archive the post-print (ie the final draft post-refereeing) and the final published PDF in their institutional repositories. 

 

 

 


For Readers:

The works included in Rivista di Scienze del turismo are the property of their authors and are used by permission.

Readers must apply the same principles of fair use to works in this electronic archive that they would to a printed archive. Any reference to material included in Rivista di Scienze del Turismo has to include the citation of the author and the source.

 

Per gli Autori:

La Rivista non richiede il trasferimento del copyright, il che significa che gli autori mantengono ogni diritto sul contenuto dei loro testi.

Il formato editoriale e la veste grafica dei testi pubblicati in formato cartaceo e/o on line rimangono di esclusiva proprietà dell’editore.

Gli Autori possono ripubblicare i loro lavori in qualsiasi momento e con qualsiasi mezzo in altra sede, con le seguenti limitazioni:
- nella nuova pubblicazione devono essere citati nella pagina legale i dati della precedente pubblicazione sotto il marchio LED, compresa la URL
- la nuova pubblicazione non deve escludere né limitare la prosecuzione della pubblicazione e della distribuzione commerciale del testo, sia in forma cartacea sia in forma digitale, da parte di LED
- la nuova pubblicazione non deve riprodurre la veste grafica della pubblicazione sotto il marchio LED, né utilizzare o riprodurre i files PDF pubblicati nel sito web www.ledonline.it, eccetto per il caso della autoarchiviazione di seguito specificato.

È pertanto vietato, anche per non danneggiare i rilievi statistici della rivista, l’inserimento dei file PDF pubblicati in Rivista di Scienze del Turismo in altri siti web (quali ad esempio “Academia” e “Research Gate”), dove la segnalazione della pubblicazione va invece accompagnata dal codice DOI e/o dal link alla home page del fascicolo.

Auto-archiviazione: È consentita l’autoarchiviazione dei files definitivi unicamente negli archivi istituzionali gestiti da MIUR, CINECA, ANVUR, e dalle Università di afferenza dei singoli Au­tori.

I testi inclusi nella Rivista sono di proprietà dei loro autori e sono utilizzati previa autorizzazione.
